Physician Locator
HMF Doctor Locator
is a tool to allow quick access to our local African American Houston doctors.

The Houston Medical Forum was founded in 1958 as a Houston doctors association for black doctors. Today it exists as a component society of the National Medical Association, Inc. and a branch of the Lone Star Medical Association. Its members consist predominantly of African American physicians and surgeons as well as attended by residents and medical students.

Our objectives are simple; as a group, we strive to promote the art and science of medicine; the betterment of the practice of medicine among its members; the stimulation of a civic and cultural element in the community; the fostering of social fellowship among the members, including the provision of scholarships to future black doctors / black doctor students.

We offer many benefits of membership in our association of black doctors, including:

  • Immediate ability to network with black doctors in Houston and the surrounding areas
  • Regular meetings with speakers on topics of interest to any black doctor
  • Community outreach activities
  • Opportunity to participate in annual black doctor events
  • Houston doctors locator tools for the general public
  • Many more benefits

Membership can become the initial step of a rewarding overall experience. We encourage you to join our association of black doctors to help foster growth and development in your chosen profession.
